A weight loss clinic might conjure up visions of sleek exercise equipment designed to strengthen various muscles and cause the sweat to pour off hard working bodies. Or it might bring to mind a cadre of mini offices each containing a well-educated individual ready to give you all the information you need so you can begin the diet to end all diets. It will probably cost you a small fortune and it may (or may not) work!
My weight loss clinic is neither of these. My weight loss clinic is a place for you to find out what you need to know to begin your quest for better health, better appearance, feeling good, and living longer without the exercise equipment, the experts, or the high cost.
In the pages of my weight loss clinic I will examine why most 'diets' fail and why so many people who successfully lose weight gain it all back once they go 'off the diet'. A diet by its very definition indicates changing the foods we eat or the way we eat them. Most of us have learned to eat the way we do during our childhood. So, many of our ingrained eating habits come from a long time ago. Habits are hard to break. For example, pancakes may not be such a bad food, but for me at least lots of butter and a generous amount of syrup is necessary to make them taste REALLY good. That’s the way we always ate them ‘at home’ and the fresh fruit or healthy yogurt toppings just don’t cut it. Not that I don’t love fresh fruit or yogurt—just not on my pancakes, thank you!
I hope my weight loss clinic will be a vehicle for you to find the program that fits you, and provide the information you need to finally get rid of excess weight for the rest of your life.
