  •  Get A Hobby--Hobbies help occupy your mind and if you're absorbed in doing something you enjoy, come of the stress in your life seems to disappear.

  • Get Away For A While--Take a walk in the park, visit a favorite museum or gallery, take a trip, visit a friend. The list of 'get-away-ideas' is endless. Use your imagination.

  • Go Shopping--May not be a good idea if your stress is money related. However, if you enjoy shopping, even a little treat may help break the cycle of stress.

  • Go To A Movie--The darkened theater and getting involved in a visual story can often take your mind off whatever problems are creating stress in your life.

  • Use That Membership To The Gym-- Exercising tense muscles and working up a sweat can help melt stress away, and a secondary benefit might be a pound or two melted away as well.

  • Play Video Games--Working off your aggravation or worry on virtual reality will take your mind off your problems and reduce your stress level.
